Gideon Frank
has been involved with research and development for the government and the business sectors, management and international nuclear policy and non-proliferation issues.
Mr. Frank obtained his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc. in Nuclear Sciences from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
After joining the Israel Atomic Energy Commission he worked at the Research Reactor in Soreq Nuclear Research Center.
Since 1990 he served in the Israel Atomic Energy headquarters and later became the Director General of the IAEC. Mr. Frank's international experience includes Scientific Counselor to the Israel Embassy in Washington representing Israel as head of delegation in international conferences.
Mr. Frank is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of the Israel Atomic Energy Commission.
