Bernard Van Leer Foundation
The Bernard van Leer Foundation is an international grantmaking foundation based in The Hague.
Through their grantmaking programmes they pioneer innovative ways to improve opportunities for disadvantaged young children. Through free publications they share their knowledge with practitioners and policy-makers and aim to shape the debate about early childhood care and education.
The Bernard van Leer Foundation receives the bulk of its income from the Van Leer Group Foundation. The members of the Van Leer Group Foundation's Governing Council also form the Board of Trustees of the Bernard van Leer Foundation.
